Case Closed · Last updated: October 2026
The Case Closed app is published by Kevin Blayassi. This policy explains how your data is handled.
Case Closed saves your game progress: solved cases, stars, best times, number of hints used, games in progress and your settings. No account, email address or identity information is required to play.
This data is stored only on your device. It is never sent to a server run by the publisher, nor sold or shared with third parties.
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your achievement progress to Apple (for example “10 cases solved”). This information is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy; the publisher has no access to it. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent and the game works normally.
The app contains no advertising, no trackers and no third-party analytics.
Case packs are one-time in-app purchases, processed by Apple through the App Store. The publisher never receives or stores your payment details (see Apple's privacy policy).
The “Contact the developer” button opens your email app. If you write, the publisher receives your message and your email address, used only to reply to you.
Case Closed asks for no personal information and collects no data for advertising. The cases involve criminal investigations (and, in the Halloween special edition, ghosts) without any violent imagery.
Your data stays on the device for as long as the app is installed. You can erase everything from the game’s settings (“Erase all progress”) or by uninstalling the app; your purchases can always be recovered with “Restore purchases”.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data. Since your data stays on your device, you can exercise these rights directly in the app.
This policy may change as the app evolves. The version in force is the one published on this page.
